How To Upload Photos Into PurpleCloud CR

Taking pictures of room and smoking damage, DND signs, or a photo for simple documentation is extremely easy in PurpleCloud.

It is easier to take and upload photos to PurpleCloud CR using a mobile device such as a phone or tablet but it certainly can be done from a desktop as well (take the photo with a device, upload and save it on your hard drive and then upload it to PurpleCloud CR).

There are two ways to upload photos into PurpleCloud CR.

  • First, take a picture with your mobile device and then upload it to a message or checklist.
  • Take a photo when creating a message or while completing a checklist

For this option, simply take a photo of what you want to document first. Log-in to PurpleCloud CR. In the messaging area, click in the black Message box and then click on Select Image. Locate the image from your photo gallery and click it to upload to the messaging area:

Or when completing a checklist, click in the Select Image area, find the picture that was taken and upload the photo:

For the second option, click in the Message area on the Home page. Click on Select Image. Click on Take Photo button from your device. Locate the item and then snap a picture of it. Click to upload the photo. Select a user(s), type out a message, and then send it. The picture will automatically upload to the system.
