Your device's battery life is shown as a percentage in the top right corner of your screen and will appear next to a white battery icon as shown in the image below.
Charging Your iPad
Your iPad uses a rechargeable battery so it is important to plug your iPad in to the charging station after each use. If the iPad is charging, the battery icon in the top right corner of your screen will turn green and a white lightning bolt icon will appear to the right of it.
How to Maximize Battery Time
One way to extend the life of your iPad's battery is to adjust the brightness settings.
Follow these steps below to adjust the brightness:
Step 1: Enter Settings From The Home Screen
Step 2: Go To Wallpapers & Brightness
Step 3: Adjust Brightness Level
Under Brightness you will see a horizontal scroll bar that allows you to adjust the brightness of your iPad's screen.
You can lower the brightness by dragging the circle to the left or raise the brightness by dragging the circle to the right.
Adjust Brightness Through Control Center
You can also change the brightness of your iPad on any screen by using the control center.
To access the control center swipe upwards from the bottom of your iPad's screen as shown in the image below.
This will bring up the control center where you can adjust settings like the brightness level.
A horizontal scroll bar will appear in the bottom right corner of the control center.
Again you can lower the brightness by sliding the circle to the left or you can raise the brightness by sliding the brightness to the right.
